Well
unloading operations are performed to remove completion, workover, or produced
fluids from the wellbore that prevent hydrocarbon production due to a
hydrostatic fluid overbalance. The well is returned to production by pumping
nitrogen through the coiled tubing to lighten the column of liquid in the
wellbore. TubeFlow PIC provides the capability to model such coiled tubing well
unloading operations (also referred to as "jetting").
